What are the points of the topic illiteracy leading to poverty in India?

There is a direct relationship between education and birth control. The higher the literacy rate, the lower the number of children per woman. If the balance between the resources and the population of the country is maintained, every person will get adequate food and financial assistance. Unemployment rate will be reduced and people will be able to live a prosperous life. Illiteracy can be considered one of the many reasons for poverty. Or one can say that illiteracy pushes up poverty and vice versa. Let's see how illiteracy causes poverty. Consider a poor illiterate person say, X . communalism Why is communalism so influential in Indian politics?

Communalism bases itself on Hate other ideology. It is against the core value of fraternity of Indian Constitution. As it spreads hate against ‘other’ community , it promotes violence , leading to polarization. The emotive issues raised by it, Shah Bano, triple talaq, Ram Temple, Mother Cow, Vande matram lead to divisions in society, and this retards the the progress of society, and pushes it back. And thats what is being promoted by communal forces from last three decades, more so during last four years or so.

Non-elites have started mobilizing only recently in India. They are already divided on caste and religious lines. There are not enough efforts to mobilize them on the basis of economic interests. Hence their mobilization is on the basis of social identity (caste, religion, regional identity). They want to hold on to this identity since that is giving them a sense of belonging and meaning. When one holds on to such an identity, there could be an adversarial attitude to other identities. That is the basis of communalism. All these are reflections of the slower pace of social change in India.

The problem of caste in India has been going on for a long time.In this country, Babri Masjid, Ram Mandir, Sesame Divorce are the topics used in politics. Riots between the two religions allow certain parties to consolidate their power. Political parties fall and rise on the basis of religion.

The government of the country changes but politics is not stopped on the basis of religion, for this reason the common people have to suffer the consequences. Religious politics in the NRC and CAA since the birth of Pakistan at the time of independence is still bothering Indians.
